“Allah will cover up on the Day of Judgement the defect (faults) of the one who covers up the faults of the others in this world.”—The Prophet SAW, as narrated by Abu Hurairah [Muslim] (via someguidance)
Ya Allah, untuk mengatakan cinta, aku takut derhaka. Untuk mengatakan tidak, aku takut berdusta. Aku hanya insan hina, yang sedang jatuh bangun di jalan berliku menuju-Mu. Bantulah aku, kesihanilah aku, sayangilah aku. Jangan KAU pinggirkan aku wahai Rahman, wahai Rahim.
“I wonder those who think about their body’s food, but do not think about their soul’s food. They keep away disturbing food from their belly, but fill up their heart with destructive subjects.”—Imam Hassan (as)
Ramadan is over, and tomorrow we will all be celebrating immensely. Buying gifts, hoarding on food, and most of us have already bought lavish clothing to wear on this blessed. But when we are celebrating just remember the starving children in Somalia, who do not have anything to EAT on Eid. Or the Palestinian children fighting for a better day. Or the Syrian rebels fighting for a better future. Let us not forget about all of the people who cannot celebrate Eid, and maybe a small donation to them can make it a little better.
“Blessings come in packages of two. With every blessing is a test. So don’t ever envy people who seem to have more than you. The more blessings, the more tests. And the greater the blessing, the harder the test.”—Yasmin Mogahed (via trusimplicity)
